Ashley Lowe, a native of Norfolk, VA, relocated to Washington, DC to pursue an education at Howard University where she studied to become a Physician Assistant and graduated with the highest cumulative GPA in her PA class. While in school, she joined Dr. Griffin’s office as a student PA during her elective rotation and felt a connection with the medical team and patients that she met. She then rejoined the team as a certified physician assistant in 2013. The diversity of patients and ability to build interpersonal relationships while guiding all members of a family towards a healthy and productive lifestyle is what attracted her to family medicine. Women’s health and promoting preventative healthcare services are also important passions of hers. In her spare time, she enjoys being active through dance and sports, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. In the future she hopes to have a family of her own. |
